About the event

EMINENT is the Experts Meeting in Education Networking annual event organised by European Schoolnet. It brings stakeholders from across Europe together to discuss the next challenges and solutions for innovative education. Participation is by invitation only.

EMINENT 2017: Learning Spaces, Time and Eco-systems, will engage participants in important discussions on space and technology as learning agents and school scheduling, as well as feature the voices of students as digital learners and citizens engaged in learning labs. Delegations consisting of representatives of Ministries of Education from more than 30 countries, together with other education stakeholders from across Europe will be present.

This year’s conference is especially important as it marks European Schoolnet’s 20^th anniversary. Having begun as a network of 18 Ministries of Education in 1997, we currently have 31 members, all united in our mission to transform education in Europe. Together we will continue identifying and testing promising innovative practices, sharing evidence about their impact, and supporting the mainstreaming of teaching and learning practices for the inclusive education of all.

Thanks to high level keynote speakers and the variety of presentations and stakeholders, participants will have access to a unique pool of expertise and opportunities for networking, and be updated on the latest European education policy developments.
