Welcome to the website of the 13th annual meeting of the European Delirium Association 2018!
It's a great pleasure to welcome you to Utrecht, the Netherlands. On 1 and 2 November we will have a meeting with an exciting program and well-known speakers. Utrecht is an attractive, historical university city that is very easy to reach from one of the main European airport hubs, Amsterdam Schiphol airport.
Learn from colleagues from around the world and contribute to scientific ideas regarding delirium mechanisms, aetiology, state-of-art clinical practice and ground-breaking research. Meet like-minded clinicians and scientists from many different disciplines and specialties, and develop friendships and research partnerships.
Delirium is severely debilitating condition that is often under-recognised. Progress can only be achieved by transcending traditional borders between professions and specialties. This meeting is therefore truly interdisciplinary, and has been designed for psychiatrists, neurologists, geriatricians, internists, surgeons, anaesthesiologists, hospitalists, family physicians, palliative care specialists, intensivists, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, rehabilitation physicians, and pharmacists. The meeting will also be interesting for non-clinical scientists working in the fields of sepsis and neuroinflammation as well as other fields of neurosciences.
Hope to see you in Utrecht!
