Exploring Cultures: An Examination of Diversity provides a look into the various ethnic, orientation and ability cultures that comprise the Wisconsin Annual Conference. The values, worldviews and norms of selected cultures will be examined, and a panel composed of persons from selected cultures will share stories of who they are and important aspects of their lives.

The Anti-Racism Task Force is pleased introduce the Cultural Competency Forum of the Wisconsin Annual Conference. Participation is free of charge to Wisconsin Conference clergy and laity.

You are invited to continue your journey to cultural competency by registering for Exploring Cultures: An Examination of Diversity that provides a look into the various ethnic, orientation and ability cultures that comprise the Wisconsin Annual Conference. The values, worldviews and norms of selected cultures will be examined, and a panel composed of persons from selected cultures will share stories of who they are and important aspects of their lives and participating in the Module’s March, April and May training and application events.

Why Should You Attend:
Most diversity and inclusion efforts in an organization focus on particular observable demographics such as race, gender, age, etc. This presentation will expand the concept of diversity by addressing the more global concept of cultural competency within organizations. It will groom executives and leaders in skills to create a culturally competent organization that supports their mission and strategic goals.

No cost for the event but you do need to register.
All clergy and laity are invited to attend.
