Workshop Format

How It Works

The Decarbonise 2016 workshop discussions are not panels. They are conversations amongst like-minded peers who want to share and learn about how best to navigate the low carbon investment market.

The 3 sessions work best with participation from everyone around the table, with the sponsor at the table acting as a guide for the discussion points that have been outlined in the Green Paper. We encourage all delegates to make the effort to engage with everyone on their table, and ultimately feel comfortable enough to share experiences/ideas, raise questions, and interject with any useful comments where appropriate.

Delegates will be moved to a different table from session to session, therefore discussing and connecting with as many different people as possible throughout the day.

Please bear in mind that some people are naturally soft spoken, and others naturally a little louder. So where necessary, kindly prompt a softer spoken person to speak a little louder. The workshops are not designed to be a platform for self promotion so please avoid this and try to refrain from taking over the conversation to allow everyone at the table to have some input. The sponsor at the table will also work to ensure everyone has an opportunity to contribute.

Each table will have a rapporteur who will take down notes to feed back to the room, and this feedback will be used to formulate a post-event White Paper that will be distributed exclusively to workshop attendees.

Each session will run for 70 minutes:

• Presentation (10 minutes)

• Roundtable Discussion (40 minutes): In depth directed round table discussion.

Reporting Back (5 minutes per table, 20 minutes in total): Each table reports back to the entire room with a précis of their round table discussion points
