The Canadian Sleep Society is pleased to announce its fundraising and awareness campaign on the importance of healthy sleep is coming to Calgary

Shakespeare in Sleep, a presentation of sleep disorders and the use of sleep in Shakespeare's plays.

Nightmares, sleep walking, snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, sleep deprivation - they are all there in Shakespeare's plays. Sleep abounds in Shakespeare's plays giving us a lexicon of sleep disorders, many of which have only recently been recognized by the medical field. This presentation will review the use of sleep and sleep disorders in Shakespeare's plays from the perspective of a sleep specialist.
