2013 Cox Media Group Innovation Summit



Hello!

We look forward to seeing you and getting to know you better Oct. 15-17 at the Innovation Summit in Portland, Maine. If you've never been to Portland before, you are in for a treat: It's a very vibrant place. It just feels innovative. We are going to have a fun and very productive time.

In the meantime, please use this Cox Travel portal to:

  • Register to attend.
  • Book your hotel and airfare.
  • Let us know of any dietary preferences/concerns.
  • Learn a little about Portland.

Please plan on arriving in time for a kickoff cocktail reception and dinner scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15. The conference will last a full day on Wednesday, Oct. 16. You'll have dinner on your own, or with friends, that night. The event will wrap up approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17. So please don’t book departing flights any earlier than 3:30 pm on the final day. Our conference planning team has been working overtime to put together a very hands-on agenda.

The primary goal of the conference is to equip all of us with the tools and skills it takes to be truly innovative. By now, you should have two or three "homework" assignments from our partners at IDEO. Please take these very seriously and complete them on schedule. You're part of a team, and there's a competition involved, so it would be a shame if your team started off behind. Portland is such a fun town, though, so we promise you'll get a break or two.

Dress for the event will be casual. This means jeans! Please complete your registration as soon as possible, but no later than September 9th. We look forward to seeing you in Portland in October!
