A Personal Invitation
Isaiah 66:8 – A Nation Born in a Day
08th to 15th May 2016
It is my wish for you to celebrate Israel’s Independence Day with us in Efrat, the story of where the Book of Ruth took place. This invitation is being extended around the world, in order to bring together our Christian friends who have a heart for Israel.
It is important that we take this sacred time to thank God for the miracle of the State of Israel. In our liturgy for Israel’s Independence Day the Jewish people recite psalms 113-118, expressing our gratitude for God’s covenantal love for His people. The days leading to the establishment of the State of Israel and the 68 years after are proof that the God of Israel is part of the continuing narrative of the Jewish people. It is important that you join with the Jewish people, and as a collective whole, to express our thankfulness to God that we have the State of Israel in our lifetime.
Your trip to Israel is designed to see firsthand the pioneering spirit of people who are contributing to the modern expression of the Covenant. We are so glad to partner with Keshet Educational Tours that have put together an Israel itinerary that makes each day in Israel a “day the Lord has made, come now and let us rejoice in it.” It our hope that you will go back inspired to tell others of the miracles that you saw in God’s country.
B’Shalom
