Our FY17 Board of Directors will reign as the honorable dignitaries of President’s Club with the recognition due for their significant achievements. Board members will make their grand entrance at President’s Club with an introduction during the Welcome Reception on Saturday, August 12th. Board perks at Club include upgraded hotel accommodations, home city airport transportation and private airport transportation when arriving in San Francisco, gifts and other surprises. Additionally, the Board will travel to the incomparable Auberge du Soleil in Napa for a 2-night post Club extension.

Travel Policy and Pre-Post Club Trip Extensions:

**Restricted Dates—No Exceptions**

President’s Club is a 4-night, high-level incentive program designed to reward your top performance. Holding President’s Club in interesting destinations and creating unique events makes for a very special experience and is a tradition that CDK Global would like to continue. First and foremost, however, we have a business to run and first quarter results are critical.

It is also understandable that you would want to take advantage of being in these special locations by extending your Club experience with personal vacation time. Unfortunately, too many days out of the office in August have a direct and significant negative impact on these first quarter results. Accordingly, we must limit time out of the office in conjunction with President’s Club.
Your anticipated cooperation with necessary travel policies is appreciated as we work together toward the long term goal of continued success for our organization. To assist those wishing to take vacation concurrent with President’s Club, the following rules apply:

You may depart your home city no earlier than Friday, August 11th. You must return home no later than Sunday, August 20th in order to be back at work on Monday, August 21st.

In order for us to most effectively control air travel costs, Atlas Travel will strictly follow the above-stated guidelines when booking your flights and issuing your airline tickets—no exceptions.

Board of Directors is a most revered and honored distinction within our President’s Club membership. As such, special rewards and exclusive-to-the-Board perks are bestowed. Rewarding the Board with extra days at elite resorts or hotels (either at or outside of the official Club hotel or resort) is one example. When the Board is taken to a separate hotel or city, out of respect for and to preserve the exclusivity of their Board achievement, CDK Global President’s Club qualifiers are kindly requested to avoid booking travel extensions where the Board program is occurring.

CDK President’s Club Website: You will soon be notified of the link to the CDK President’s Club website. The website will provide information on San Francisco, our deluxe accommodations and the many exciting activities, tours and events we have planned for you. In late June, we will let you know that the Club registration page is available. You should register as soon as possible once the page becomes active. Early registration will enable you to obtain preferred flight itineraries. As always, airline tickets will not be issued until FY 17 is closed and qualifications are confirmed, but your registration should be processed even if you may just be on target for Club qualification. If you finalize travel arrangements with Atlas Travel prior to qualifying for Club, you will be personally responsible for all related charges if you subsequently do not qualify. The exception to this is if you receive notification that you have been pre-qualified for Club prior to the close of the fiscal year. At that point you may finalize your air ticketing accordingly at no risk to you.

Additional room nights at the Fairmont San Francisco are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may make your request on the President’s Club website registration page.

At Home Support Person (Spouse/Significant Other/Guest):
President’s Club is intended to recognize the contribution of those who encourage, support and assist our qualifiers in achieving their goals, whether a spouse, significant other or guest. Guests may, for example, be a parent, a 21 years of age or older adult child, a close friend or other. You will be provided one guest room; rooms with two beds are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis when you register for Club on the official website. Qualifiers bringing a guest who require a room with two double beds will be given priority over qualifiers bringing children who request the same room type. Additional room requests or other accommodations are a personal expense. Your at home support person plays a key role in our success and is part of the CDK family. He or she is expected to attend dinners and Club related functions with the qualifier.

Children:
It is acceptable to bring your children to Club as long as you follow the rules set out herein. Any additional travel costs for the children, including but not limited to airline tickets and any meals besides breakfast would be a personal expense. Children (a maximum of two) may join you in your CDK Global sponsored Club hotel room; however, if additional expenses are incurred (such as but not limited to a third person room charge supplement for a child over the age of 18) these expenses would be a personal expense.

You will be provided one guest room; rooms with two beds are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis when you register for Club on the official website. Qualifiers bringing a guest who require a room with two double beds will be given priority over qualifiers bringing children who request the same room type.

Qualifier and guest are still required to attend the Club related functions, but children (other than nursing infants) are not included in these events (breakfast is the only exception – children may partake of our private group breakfast daily). It may be possible for children to accompany you on sponsored activities or tours, provided there is space available on the activity or tour after online sign-up closes, and provided that they meet any legal requirements for the activity, such as minimum age/height/weight. The cost of a child to accompany you on a tour would be a personal expense. Those who register as bringing children will be contacted after the close of online tour sign-up with tour availability and price information.

Any necessary childcare will be the responsibility and personal expense of the qualifier.

If you intend to bring your children, this must be noted at registration on the President's Club website.

President’s Club qualifiers who do not follow these rules will be asked to return home and will forfeit participation in President’s Club. All arrangements and costs associated with this early return will be a personal responsibility and expense.

Employment Status/Alternate Compensation:
Qualifiers must be employees in good standing with CDK at the time of the trip in order to participate in President’s Club. Final eligibility and participation will be determined by the Presidents of CDK Global.

No alternate compensation will be provided for qualifier or guest in lieu of attending President’s Club. No exceptions will be made.

Registration:
Qualifiers must comply with all registration, additional information requests and ticketing deadlines or be subject to additional charges or penalties due, for example, but not limited to, higher airfares or penalties on unused blocked air space.

Taxability:
Incentive awards are considered to be “non-business required” and are therefore taxable by law. Accordingly, the taxable cost of Club for you and your spouse/significant other will be included in your gross income. You will not be taxed on business related items at Club, such as giveaways and banquets where business is conducted. All qualifiers will receive a confirmation of the taxable calculation in the Fall and the necessary W-2 tax filing statements at calendar year-end.

The taxable impact will be spread over four pay periods, beginning in September with an estimated taxable cost and will be finalized in December, with the impact to reflect the actual final calculation.

Air Transportation As Provided By Atlas Travel:
As with any of our corporate events, we strive to ensure quality and convenient flight arrangements at economical prices. If your plans deviate from official Club dates and the airfare on your chosen dates is higher than the fare would be on Club dates, the additional airfare will be your personal responsibility. Please give any personal travel serious thought and be sure of your plans before booking your flights.

Upgrades and Frequent Flyer Miles:
Upgrading to a higher class of air travel service or the use of Frequent Flyer Miles to upgrade is permitted, however, before you attempt to do so, please understand the process has become very difficult and very expensive.

The airlines no longer allow upgrades from any negotiated airfares, meaning you must first purchase the difference between the negotiated airfare and a higher “upgradeable” class of service airfare. In most cases this step translates to approximately $400 to $800 per person, depending on the airline. Once you’ve made the purchase to a higher unrestricted class of service, you must now wait until your ticket is issued. When your ticket is issued, you may then call your airline and attempt to process the upgrade.

Gifts:
As in past years, Club attendees will receive a number of President's Club gifts/amenities. Regions or Business Units are not authorized to buy gifts, including shirts, for any attendees. Accounts Payable will not reimburse you for these types of expenses. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

We look forward to celebrating your successes in August.
