For those of you who saw Barbara Adams (Physio Care at Home) speak, here's a link to the brilliant video she mentioned about the importance of moving even 30 minutes a day: Dr. Bob Evans' 23 1/2 Hours. The best thing I've seen yet to get you going!
Don't forget the Walkabout program's pedometer loaner program.

Wow! Great interview with Bob and Dr. Camille on Global Maritimes Morning News today (Feb 5th). Hear about Bob's motivation in starting the Cardio Health Show, and Dr. Camille deliver some hard facts about heart disease in Nova Scotia.
Take a look at this [link], and join us on Friday.

More personal messages: Dr. Nicholas Giacomantonio is a cardiologist and one of our speakers and program consultants, and there's even one from me.

We are only weeks away from the Cardio Health Show and things are ramping up!
Things are taking shape nicely. Since this is the first year for the CHS, we are keeping our minds, eyes, and ears open so that we may provide the best and most informative details about heart health on February 8th. Take a few minutes and look around the site, and keep coming back as we have lots to update!
If you are interested, please join us - we fully believe this event will be of interest to anyone and everyone. If you have been touched by a heart health crisis (either yourself or someone close to you), you know there is so much to learn and so much to share. So much information that is both startling and enlightening. So much information that needs to be shared on a wider basis, with people of all ages and backgrounds.
A day that is at once academic and approachable, the Cardio Health Show is aimed at spreading the basic as well as the advanced facts about cardio health here in Nova Scotia.
If you would like more information, please stay tuned to this website.
