About CancerCon
CancerCon is the evolution of the national OMG! Cancer Summit for Young Adults. For the first time, young adult cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, advocates, researchers and digital health partners will unite for change on behalf of the young adult cancer movement.
Why It Matters
Young adults, a largely unknown group in the war on cancer, account for 72,000 new diagnoses each year. That’s one every eight minutes. Millons are affected by young adult cancer worldwide, including parents, children, caregivers and long-term survivors of childhood cancer. They represent an underserved community with limited access to health technology, relevant support and age-appropriate clinical care.
