The following activities are available outside the resort.  You may select one of the following activity courtesy of Border Foods from the list below.  You may also purchase additional activities for you and your guest at the cost listed below.   

We strongly recommend making an advance reservation during registration in order secure a spot and an activity preference.  Transportation to and from the activity will be part of the overall activity expense.

As mentioned on the activity page, you will be required to provide a credit card during registration to secure any activity beyond the free activity provided by Border Foods. Your card will not be charged until you check in at the Border Foods "Best of the Best" Hospitality Desk in the resort. 

Your activity details, time, and reservation will be provided in your final travel documents. You have the opportunity to cancel your activity reservation prior to arrival, but once you arrive at Breathless and check-in, your reservation will be confirmed and you will be responsible for any cancellation or no show fees that you incur.

If you do not sign up for paid activities in advance, you will be subject to availability on-site.  Border Foods Travel Staff on site at the Hospitality Desk will maintain a wait list for each activity and whenever possible try to accommodate cancellations with substitutions.

Feel the wind as you navigate the lagoon 

Come and enjoy the most popular and exciting tour, driving your own two-person speed boat through the green mangrove channels along the Nichupté Lagoon. You will reach the beautiful “Punta Nizuc,” part of the world’s second largest coral reef, where you will have an unforgettable snorkeling experience while admiring the unbelievable undersea life.

Morning Glory

Snorkeling Adventure takes snorkeling lovers out to enjoy a real great time at the second largest coral reef formation in the world. It is considered a National Park, surrounded by outstanding rich tropical vegetation and a private environment. Two guided snorkel stops make this a real amazing experience for snorkelers.

Río Secret

In this surreal locale near Plays del Carmen you can observe natural history dating back millions of years, as you hike and swim through a route of about 1 km full of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Go deep inside an underground cave, where you'll experience true silence among some of the most dramatic mineral formations in the world.

Come with us on a magical journey through the crystal museum that is Río Secret, where the history of our planet is written on the myriad geological formations, and where floating in its crystal clear fresh water your life will change forever.

Catamaran Sailing & Snorkeling

Browse in our luxurious catamaran "arrecife" to one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Practice snorkeling at the reef of Puerto Morelos, the second largest coral reef in the world. Enjoy our beverages and food or just enjoy the magnificent view of the ocean.

Emotion Natives Park

Enjoy the experience and feel the thrill of driving an ATV through the Mayan jungle trails. Drive through exciting and safe private paths immersed in a protected natural area. Only 3 minutes from Playa del Carmen!

A fun route will take you to explore caves, discover authentic Mayan ruins and visit a house where you can learn about the lifestyle of the ancient inhabitants. Finally enjoy a beautiful cenote with crystal clear water where you can swim and learn about the formation of these natural wonders. Xel-Ha

The largest natural aquarium Mexico’s

At Xel-Ha enjoy the extraordinary network of natural pools and waterways, walking paths and tropical forest, jump in to an incredible “natural aquarium” where you can snorkel in calm waters.

Xplor

The coolest newest park

Xplor is a unique underground world, with activities that invite you to explore the 4 elements and rediscover your emotions and senses within nature.

Over 6 miles of adventure. Eleven exciting zip-lines, journeys through the jungle on unstoppable amphibious vehicles, an underground paradise where you can swim surrounded by amazing stalactites and stalagmites, a matchless raft route across stunning subterranean caverns while paddling with your own hands,. All this awaits you at Xplor.

Attractions:

Amphibious: Feel the adventure of conquering all terrains, and daunting the borders between jungle, water, rocks and grottos, on mighty two-seated amphibious vehicles.

Along the 3 miles journey, there are several rest areas and overtaking lanes.                                                           

Underground Rafts: Set sail on a raft, and paddle with your hands over crystal-clear waters among age-old rocky formations, which lead to discover the deepest boundaries of our planet.

During the trip, you will find 2 short cuts that will shorten the stroll if you wish to.

Zip-lines: Gaze at the ground, trees and caves from heights far above, and be astonished by them, surrender to freedom, and cross over 2 miles of airborne adventure.

11 zip lines, 2 suspension bridges, 1 slide, 2 water landings, and a shot of adrenaline comprise this venture that will lead you from heights of 131 ft (the highest zip-line) to depths of -26ft down the subsoil.

Stalactite River: Swim through the most spectacular mysterious routes, surrounded by amazing stalactites and stalagmites, and discover the secrets of the underground world.
