Poster Abstracts

The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) is pleased to showcase Research Posters for our 71st Bleeding Disorders Conference (BDC) in Anaheim, CA from October 3-5, 2019.

The following are the NHF Bleeding Disorder Conference 2019 approved abstracts that will be displayed as posters in the exhibit hall. You can search through the abstracts either by title or by category.
NHF is presenting important research currently being conducted by physicians, researchers, nurses, physical therapists, social workers and other healthcare professionals in the field of bleeding and clotting disorders. We encourage all members of the community to view posters in the following categories:
• Biomedical/Coagulation Research
• Clinical Research/Clinical Trials
• Orthopedic and Physical Therapy
• Psychosocial Issues
• Inhibitors
• New Products
• Quality of Life/ Outcomes Research
• Collaboration/Team Models
• Peer Support/Outreach/Integration Models
• Law/Ethics/Health Policy
• Women’s Research
• All approved poster abstracts will be posted to NHF's 71st Bleeding Disorders Conference website one month prior to the start of the conference. Abstracts will remain available online until one month after the end of the conference. The NHF Bleeding Disorders Conference is routinely attended by nearly 3,000 people, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, industry representatives, NHF chapters, patients and families.
• Research posters will be prominently displayed during NHF’s 71st Bleeding Disorders Conference in Anaheim, CA within the exhibit hall. NHF will also be hosting a Research Posters Reception on Friday evening, October 4, 2019 from 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM. This annual reception provides an opportunity for abstract authors and attendees to interact and network with each other.
All posters will be presented inside the Exhibit Hall. Each poster will be allocated a poster board; the poster cannot exceed the following measurements: Landscape orientation: 72 inches wide x 42 inches tall.
Push pins for mounting your poster materials will be provided. If you poster requires any special materials that cannot be mounted via push pins, you should bring your own mounting supplies. No electrical outlets or audio-visual equipment will be provided in the poster area. 


A number and three letter code will be assigned to each approved poster. Each poster board will have this code and number in the upper corner corresponding to the posters listed online and in the Bleeding Disorders Conference application. Posters will be grouped by topic. You may not move your poster from its assigned position. Please note, you will need this code and number to set up your poster. 

Set Up:

Posters must be set up on Thursday, October 3, 2019, from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. 


Posters must be taken down between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2019. If they are still on your board after this time, we reserve the right to remove and dispose of the poster. No responsibility can be taken for any loss or damage to your poster. Submission of your poster is taken as acceptance of these conditions.
