Essential Skills for Writing Bids and Tenders
Gaining competitive advantage

Date: Thursday, 12 December 2013
Time: 2pm - 3pm

Overview:
As the contract environment becomes ever more competitive, it is critical that if organisations have the expertise that set them apart from other competitors, such information is clearly and accurately reflected.

Completing the volume of paperwork that often accompanies the bid/tendering process can be daunting and sometimes confusing. Sadly failure to comply with the requirements can lead to ineligible applications. Essential skills for writing bids and tenders focus on the practicalities of bid and tender writing with the aim of assisting provider staff to navigate their way through the complexities of producing an excellent tender response.

This webinar is designed to help provider staff improve their understanding of the current bidding and tendering environment and improve their ability to submit quality submissions supporting employability and workplace learning.

Objectives:
Essential skills for writing bids and tenders focuses on the practicalities of bid and tender writing with the aim of assisting provider staff to navigate their way through the complexities of producing an excellent tender response. The specific objectives are to enable participants to:

  • Analyse typical tender questions and consider appropriate content of responses
  • Demonstrate how responses to the tender evaluation/assessment criteria can influence the success of the application
