Bid Management Professional Development Program
In preparation for the tender process and in line with our mission to build long term capacity within the DES sector, ACE National has partnered with BID Management International to offer members this limited opportunity to participate in world class tender training. Bid Management International and Donna Eiby are recognised as world class in their field and we are proud to be associated with them.
This program will operate on a first come basis and is strictly limited. There is no opportunity for additional numbers. If your interest is in building long term capacity, skills and knowledge within your organisation, then this is the course for you.
We are pleased to announce that we have been able to secure two rounds of single day Executive and Management training sessions in all four cities, however we can only offer one round of Operational training which spans 5 days across Phase One and Phase Two, therefore these places are extremely limited. Please note that if you are registering to attend the Executive or Management sessions, you only have to register for one as the second in each city is a repeat of the first.
BMIQTM – Executive
Tailored for Executives at Board and CEO level who are responsible for the governance of the bid function from an organisational perspective. Understand the requirements that are essential for the opportunity pursuit and bid functions to be successful.
BMIQTM Executive - Understand the Organisational Pursuit and Bid Functions.
Topics covered:
· Understand the Organisational Bid Function – whether virtual or actual, each organisation has a process for developing a response to tender – ensure that you understand the core elements to gain maximum results.
· Understand the Opportunity Pursuit Process – position yourself as a provider of choice prior to the release of tenders and meet buyer requirements to ensure your Bid Management is effective.
· Provide on-going support for the Bid Function/process.
BMIQTM – Management
This unit covers understanding the management of the pursuit of individual opportunities from pre-sales through to contract implementation. This course is tailored for those who are responsible for developing and managing opportunity pipelines, qualification of opportunities, and developing strategies and resourcing individual bids.

· Manage Individual Pursuit Strategy and Resourcing – position yourself as a provider of choice prior to the release of tenders and meet buyer requirements to ensure your Bid Management is effective.
· Conduct Opportunity Qualifications – develop a process to determine which tenders you should bid for by qualifying your opportunities in advance.

BMIQTM – Operational
A comprehensive walk through of the fundamentals of BMIQTM – both from a procurement and a bidding perspective – designed for anyone in the organisation responsible for the management of the bid period.
Get the complete picture of the background of BMIQTM and why it is essential for an organisation (as a whole) to understand the bidding process in order to be successful.
This is followed by a comprehensive training program on the complete BMIQTM methodology that is designed to be operationally simple.
The training provides both theory and practical experience to either build a complete bid management process or supplement an existing practice.
