Logistical details
This is an invitation-only event. Invitations are non-transferable and include complimentary accommodation. Business casual attire is recommended for the conference and evening activities. Please note that availability is strictly limited, so we ask that you register to secure your place.
Dell is pleased to offer all invited attendees to the Accelerating Understanding Summit 2017 the following complimentary package:
- Accommodation at Grand Hotel Palazzo Livorno overnight on Tuesday 26 September, including breakfast and all taxes*
- All scheduled meals and refreshments as part of the Summit
- Networking dinner

* The cost of in-room extras and any additional nights of accommodation will be the responsibility of each guest.

Travel / Flights
- All delegates should make their own travel arrangements to Pisa. For air travellers, we recommend flying to Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport which is a 15 minute (€12) taxi ride in normal traffic to the Summit Day 1 venue (Gipsoteca di Arte Antica dell'Università di Pisa). If flights are more convenient to/from Florence, taxis to the venue will takes roughly an hour. Alternatively you could get a train from Florence airport Firenze Santa Maria Novella to Central Pisa train station which would take roughly an hour and would costs €10. From Central Pisa train station it’s a 15 minute walk to Gipsoteca di Arte Antica.
- Delegates should arrive at the Summit (Gipsoteca di Arte Antica dell'Università di Pisa) by 13:45 for registration and a coffee on Tuesday 26 September.
- The conference finishes at 15:30 on Wednesday 27 September at the Day 2 venue (see locations below)
- Please use the registration form to communicate your travel details as early as possible so that we can arrange for grouped transports to the airport on Wednesday 27th September.
Transfers
- Delegates travel individually to the Summit, then Dell will provide transfers between the Day 1 Summit venue (Gipsoteca) and the hotel and back to the Summit on Day 2.
- We will also organise grouped transfers on departure between the Summit and the recommended airports.
