Ian MacDonald oversees all aspects of sales, service, revenue and expense for Northeast division. He provides leadership and expertise to regional sales leaders and AutoTrader.com’s on-the-ground sales force in this division to maximize the success auto dealers have in marketing vehicles through AutoTrader.com and KBB.com. MacDonald has 30 years of experience in the automotive industry in Europe, U.S., Middle East and Far East, including more than 20 years sales experience.  During his time with Cox Automotive, MacDonald served as Senior Vice President for Cox Autotrader and AutoMart in 2008, overseeing the transition of revenue and key sales and executive  personnel to AutoTrader.com following the closure of print publications. Before joining AutoTrader.com in July 2003, MacDonald worked in the Military Sales field following OEM experience with both SAAB and Ford Motor Company in Europe

Dale Pollak's career in the automotive industry spans more than two decades. As a dealer, technology entrepreneur and best-selling author, Dale has helped many successful automotive dealers make dramatic improvements in their used vehicle operations. Dale pioneered the Velocity Method of Inventory Management. It maximizes a dealer's used vehicle profitablity through the use of market metrics - an approach he crafted as a Cadillac dealer in Chicago who could not physically observe his used cars - and which ultimately led to the founding of vAuto in 2005. In late 2010, the AutoTrader Group (ATG) acquired vAuto. Dale now guides strategic product development/integration for vAuto and other ATG companies.
