Assessment Workshop: Making a Difference in Student Learning - Assessment as a Core Strategy
 
Welcome to the Assessment Workshop
Making a Difference in Student Learning - Assessment as a Core Strategy is a team-based workshop combining interactive concurrent sessions with mentored teamwork. Each institution is expected to send 4-8 participants who will work as a team to design an assessment project that can be implemented on campus during the year after they return from the workshop. Teams complete a pre-work assignment that outlines their plans or project and arrive at the workshop prepared to engage with an experienced assessment mentor. 
 
This workshop is open to all member institutions of the Higher Learning Commission. It is beneficial to institutions that are seeking guidance in implementing and maintaining their assessment plans, as well to faculty and staff who are new to assessment.
