Library) on Wednesday, September 11. This exclusive evening will be sponsored by Tokyo Bunko and Laguna Bay. We will begin at 17:30 with a toast and
opening remarks on the history of this incredible location, founded in 1924 by Iwasaki Hisaya, the third president of Mitsubishi. Guests will then have the opportunity to view certain collection pieces belonging to the largest and oldest research library on Asian studies in Japan, followed by a wonderful dinner from 18:30-20:00. The restaurant on-site at Toyo Bunko will prepare a menu featuring
locally-sourced ingredients from the Iwasaki family’s Koiwai farm in Iwate Prefecture. We hope you will join us for this memorable evening.
