REGISTRATION

Each person attending the conference needs to complete their own registration form, with payment to the Conference Secretariat. This includes invited speakers, chairpersons and all other delegates. Please read the information on this site carefully before completing the form. Registration and accommodation will only be confirmed on receipt of payment.

FEES

All fees quoted below are show in US$. The charge for the conference will be made in A$ and when you log onto the website to complete your on line registration, you will see fees all shown as A$. The exchange rate as of the time of publication is being used for the calculation of A$ which is:

1US$ = A$1.10 (A$1 = US$0.91)

Please note: Early bird registrations have now been extended to 7 August 2014.

* The Practical Stream is an interactive style program that runs over Friday 31 October and Saturday 1 November only. If you register for this stream, you will be entitled to attend any sessions of your choice that are programmed on these 2 days. It does not include the dinner.

ELIGIBILITY TO REGISTER

The joint meeting of APEG and APPES is a scientific meeting which aims to enhance medical knowledge amongst health professionals in the field of Paediatric Endocrinology. The meeting is open to APEG and APPES members and Health Professionals practicing in, or with an active interest in Paediatric Endocrinology.

In addition, representatives from industry sponsors are permitted to attend the meeting as observers. However, non medical personnel from pharmaceutical, medical device or other related companies that are not sponsoring the meeting are not permitted to register for this conference.

Payment for registration can be made by credit card or an invoice can be requested.

A summary of your registration and invoice will be emailed to you within three to five working days.

PAYMENT OF FEES

Payment of fees must accompany all registrations and may be made by cheque, credit card (MasterCard or Visa only with 2.2% credit card fee added to the final amount) or direct deposit (please ensure remittance advice is emailed to appes@willorganise.com.au). Cheques are to be made payable to APPES Conference.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

Your registration will be acknowledged in writing with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Bookings will be confirmed only on receipt of payment.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the conference secretariat.

Cancellations received:

  • Before 21 September 2014 will incur a US$150 cancellation fee
  • Before 26 October 2014 will incur a 50% refund of fees paid
  • After 26 October 2014 there will be no refund.

INSURANCE

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the conference and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the conference, or through cancellation of the conference, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes, failure to utilise tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The conference managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
