| Nokia Optical Network Certification Program |
| Leverage your investment in Nokia optical technology with the Nokia Optical Network Certification (ONC) program. The ONC program is designed to provide industry professionals with the training and skills needed to design, implement, and manage/maintain optical networks based on the Nokia 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) and 1350 Optical Management System (OMS). Several certification tracks are planned for the program. The first certification, available now, is the ONC-Architect certification. The focus of ONC-Architect is on advanced-level topics in the areas of network design, management, and troubleshooting. The certification consists of four courses, four written exams, and one practical lab exam. In addition to lecture material, each course includes a large percentage of time for hands-on lab training and exercises to ensure participants gain strong working-level knowledge of the material.
