We are pleased to announce a change in format this year where we will combine the following product demonstrations with product discussions to provide you with more hands-on experience of presented concepts.
|
- More Efficient Metro Networks - Today’s metro transport applications demand more efficiency – in space, power, density, functionality, and simplicity. This session will include a live demo to highlight the new high density cost optimized PSS1830 solutions from customer premise to metro core.
- Towards 5G: Any-Haul Transport Solutions for CRAN – Nokia is a leader in both the Wireless Networks space and Optical transport. This presentation will talk about how we are leveraging our experience in both areas to keep our customers ahead of the wave of new services 5G will enable. A live demonstration of the 1830 VWM system will be provided to show the seamless integration of this Fronthaul transport solution in a comprehensive Radio Access Network (RAN) environment.
- Data Center Interconnect (DCI) / CDC-F ROADM – Datacenter Interconnect (DCI) and flexible, dynamic CDC-F ROADM optical networks are two of two most exciting topics in Optical Transport today. Nokia continues to innovated and accelerate the industry adoption of these key technologies. See how Nokia’s products and features enable customers to build modern, high-capacity, scalable core optical networks for metro to ULH applications. Included are overviews of our latest generation 1830 PSI-2T data center interconnect product, 1830 CDC-F ROADM, and 1830 C+L ROADM for scalability.
- Layer 1 Network Security - To respond to ever increasing data protection requirements, Nokia has expanded its industry-leading Layer 1 security portfolio with new products and applications that are aimed at providing the lowest cost per transported secure bit, and solutions that can offer customized and differentiated services for the most demanding customer applications in secure optical transport. In this 1830 PSS demonstration, a secure solution for 10G and 100G services will be showcased, illustrating the value of industry-certified hardware features like AES-256 line encryption and OTN transparency.
- Resilient Optical Networking - This session highlights next generation dynamic optical networks, including Colorless-Directionless-Contenless FlexGrid (CDC-F) ROADMs, optical layer restoration, and L0/L1 multi-layer optimization. These new technologies help carriers improve network utilization and efficiency, while lowering overall costs. The demonstration will also highlight sophisticated Nokia simulation and modeling tools for network planning and optimization.
- Network Service Platform (NSP) - As Optical Networks evolve, so must the Network Management Systems that support them. This demonstration will unveil Nokia’s newest Network Management System solution, the Network Services Platform (NSP), and the comprehensive support it provides in end-to-end management. NSP integrates management operations across IP and Optical platforms into a single operating system, while still supporting a modular design to support customization and evolution.
- Integrated Packet Transport - The integration of packet and optical technologies within a common transport platform offers enormous cost advantages and networking efficiencies in many applications. This demonstration will show the latest packet optical equipment in the portfolio, and the key capabilities available relating to areas like protection, timing, and OAM.
