North American Wholesalers

The Australia Marketplace workshop is designed specifically for North American wholesale product managers, owners, Senior Reservations Staff, Premier Aussie Specialists and Preferred Travel Advisors. If you purchase, sell or promote travel to Australia then the Australia Marketplace is for you.

Participation fees

There is a nominal participation fee of USD$199 for North American wholesale product buyers, owners and managers. The fee for additional delegates is USD$199 (twin-share room) or USD$199 (single room).   

Inclusions
 
  • Four nights’ hotel accommodation (arrival Monday, 26 August, departure Friday, 30 August 2019) at The Westdrift Hotel in Manhattan Beach (Los Angeles), California.
  • All breakfasts, lunches, dinners and cocktail receptions as per the Australia Marketplace program
  • Air subsidy of up to USD$275 for out of town buyers upon request (or actual cost of round trip airline ticket, if ticket is less than USD$275; maximum one subsidy per company).
  • Three days of one-on-one appointments with Australian tourism product suppliers
  • Contact details and business profiles of Australian suppliers and Australia Marketplace sponsors.

Deadline to apply is 15 July, 2019.

The Australia Marketplace committee will review each application and once approved, you will receive a confirmation of your participation. You may then come back to this site to make a credit card payment (Visa and Mastercard).

Accommodation

Your registration fee includes four nights’ hotel accommodation (arrival Monday, 26 August, departure Friday, 30 August 2019) at The Westdrift Hotel. Rooms are based on single occupancy and reservation of 4 program nights will be made by Joseph Chan.

Additional nights are available up to three days pre and post event subject to availability, at our discounted group rate of USD$219.00 plus applicable taxes. Any additional nights are at your own cost directly with the hotel. Please let Joseph know if you require additional nights asap, and he will make reservation for your
 entire stay, including your additional nights if applicable.
 
 Air Subsidy 
 
If you choose to apply for your air-subsidy reimbursement, please email me your airline official itinerary and paid receipt. All requests will be reviewed after the conclusion of the event. In order to be considered and granted this subsidy, you must attend all of your appointments during the program and maintain a professional manner during the event.
 
All requests will be processed within two weeks after the program. Please make sure to send me your documents before this period ended (13 September 2019). Additionally, only one subsidy per company is allowed.

All attendees are responsible for their own airport transportation arrangements. Options include:
  • SuperShuttle offers options ranging from shared ride van service to sedans. For your convenience, we have negotiated a discount with SuperShuttle for their airport transfer services. Book your discounted SuperShuttle here.
  • Uber - UberX (standard Uber vehicle) is US$15.00 per Uber's fare estimator (https://www.uber.com/fare-estimate/) between LAX and the Westdrift in Manhattan Beach. Refer to your Uber app for additional information and more specific fare estimates.
  • Taxi fares from LAX are estimated to be around USD$23.00 (not including tip). Taxis are readily available outside each terminal baggage claim area.
Cancellation and refund policy

All cancellations received in writing on or before 12 August, 2019: 100% refund
Cancellations received after 12 August, 2019: non refundable
