Tours

Payment for tours must be received by Friday 21^st July 2017. After this date, any unpaid tours will be cancelled and offered up for general sale.

You will still be able to book tours after Friday 21st July 2017, depending on availability, however they will need to be paid for at the time of booking. If payment is being made by bank transfer, a proof of payment may be requested.

All tours cancelled after Friday 21st July 2017 are non-refundable and will incur a 100% cancellation charge.

Should minimum numbers not be reached for any tour, we reserve the right to cancel the tour, in which case you will be informed immediately by email and provided with a full refund, or alternative options.

Any remaining places on tours can be booked at the Tour Desk during the conference, however we would advise that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note that costs for tours running on Sunday 27th August will be higher than on other days, due to surcharges incurred for operating on this day.

Prior to the start of the AMEE Conference, you will be provided with a confirmation email providing specific information relating to the tours you have booked. You may be asked to provide a copy of this email prior to joining the tour. Printed or electronic copies will be accepted.

Transfers

Payment for transfers must be received by Friday 11th August 2017.  Any transfers not paid for by this date will be cancelled.  Any transfers booked after this date must be paid for at the time of booking. If payment is being made by bank transfer, a proof of payment may be requested.

Please be aware that any waiting-time charges incurred from the transport company will be passed to the delegate for payment.  This will apply regardless of the reason for the delay.  The following waiting times are included within the cost of the transfer: 

Arrival at Airport – 1 hour

Departure from hotel/Messukeskus – 30 minutes 

Cancellations made up to 48 hours prior to the transfer time will be refunded in full, but will incur a €10.00 administration charge. Transfers cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the transfer time will be charged in full.
