Henry’s career at the Financial Times Group began in 1997 as a reporter on Offshore Financial Review. From 1999, he was features editor and subsequently editor of FT Mandate, a global institutional investment publication. In 2011, he was instrumental in the launch of the Analysis section of MandateWire, a digital institutional investment intelligence service for asset managers around the world.

Pablo Calo
Managing Director, Park Hill Group

Pablo Calo is a member of Park Hill’s Secondary Advisory group and is based in London. Prior to joining Park Hill in 2013, Mr Calo was a Managing Director with PineBridge Investments and head of its European private equity secondary business. Mr Calo spent sixteen years dedicated to private equity investments with PineBridge and its predecessor companies, AIG Global Investment Group and AIG Capital Partners in New York, Buenos Aires and London. He received a BS in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Uruguay and an MBA from Yale University. 











Phil McGowan
Senior Vice President and Head of EMEA Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Services, State Street

Phil McGowan is the Head of State Street’s Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Administration business in Europe; a business with over US$150 billion in assets under administration. In this role, he is responsible for strategy, business performance and operations, as well as over 500 employees in six locations.

Mr. McGowan’s career spans some 20 years of offshore fund administration and custody experience in North America and Europe, 16 years of which were with Investors Bank and Trust (IBT). He first joined State Street in 2007 through the acquisition of IBT, where he had been managing director of the Irish business for six years. In 2009, he became chief operating officer of HFX Capital in Ireland, and rejoined State Street in 2010.

Mr. McGowan holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of New Hampshire.







Simon Martin,
Partner, Head of Research and Strategy, Tristan Capital Partners

Simon Martin brings a 15+ year track record of international real estate investment management to Tristan. He was previously Managing Director of Research and Strategy for Curzon Global Partners/AEW Europe. He joined Curzon Global Partners upon its founding in London in 1999.

Prior to joining Curzon Global Partners he headed DTZ's Fund Management and Investment Strategy Group. Prior to joining DTZ in 1996, he worked for CB Hillier Parker's investment research team and at both Cambridge University (Property Research Unit) and at Kingston University (Real Estate Faculty) in London.

Mr Martin visits as the CBRE Professor of Real Estate Finance at the Henley Business School and at Cass Business School. He is an Associate of the renowned economic consultancy, Lombard Street Research.
















Melville Rodrigues
Partner, CMS Cameron McKenna

Melville Rodrigues advises on the establishment and operation of real estate funds. The funds have been constituted as different structures: for example, limited partnerships, corporates intended for AIM/full listing, private equity vehicles and joint ventures – in which the exits have been closed- ended, open-ended and ‘a hybrid’.
