The fall AIA NC/CAGC Joint Committee Meeting is an important event where we count on full committee participation from both architect and contractor representatives. We will be discussing key legislative and regulatory issues, architect-contractor cooperation, contract documents, JCRs, bid procedures and other matters surrounding both the construction and design community. We'll also be looking for ideas on how to get more infrastructure funding at a time when the unemployment rate continues to be around 20 percent for the design and construction community. Another timely topic will be how AIA NC-CAGC's relationship continues to be very strong in joint legislative efforts, including having our recent CAGC NC Legislative Day at the AIA NC headquarters.
