The 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Amnesty International Canada (English Section) was held on May 29th, 30th and 31st at St Mary's University in Halifax Nova Scotia. In addition to standard AGM content, we hosted a Human Rights Conference on Saturday May 30th. The Conference was open to local activists, Amnesty friends and colleagues from other organizations. 

Our definition of membership has recently changed. Only members are eligible to participate in governance activities (e.g. voting in elections and on resolutions, nominating candidates to the Board or the ICM Delegation).
