General Event Information


 

What’s included in your Amway Achievers program: As a guest of Amway, you will receive up to two main-cabin-seating airline tickets or round-trip mileage reimbursement based on the address of your North American business, one room at the event hotel for up to three nights, luggage reimbursement and invitations to participate in Amway-sponsored events. Transportation to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO) is also provided (on trip arrival and departure dates only).

 

The Internal Revenue Service requires Amway to report all nonbusiness-related items such as activities and amenities. This will be indicated in the IRS Form 1099 you receive annually from Amway.

As business owners, you understand that reporting the correct amount of income to the IRS is important. Examples of items that are included (at fair market value) on the IRS Form 1099-MISC and/or your Annual Income Summary (both available online) include:

  • Bonus earnings
  • Gift cards/giveaways/raffles
  • Cash in lieu of trips/prizes
  • Trip amenities
  • Event tickets
  • Nonbusiness trips

We know that many of you involve your families in your business. We applaud you! Your organization establishes parameters regarding the involvement of children at business events, and so does Amway. Efforts are made to include children in certain activities during the Amway Achievers program, through guest buy-ins when available. In addition, your children and guests of all ages are invited to attend the Expo and Workouts free of charge when accompanied by a qualified IBO.

Buy-in Opportunities for Children/Guests

As we return to in-person events, Achievers is looking a little different. This year, we are limiting buy-ins to four guests. All buy-ins must be purchased during online registration. There will be limited availability to purchase buy-ins on-site at Amway Achievers 2021. All activity sales are final. Additional information will be available on the registration website when it opens in mid-August.

Once you complete your registration for the Amway Achievers event, you will receive a pre-event mailing in early September / October. New this year!  The mailing will include postcards, luggage tags, your Achievers Amenity items and expo items. Mailings will be sent based on your on-track status, not final qualification.

Pre-event delivery is not guaranteed for IBOs who register after the deadline of September 16.

Get the most out of your Achievers 2021 experience with our mobile event app! The app is a quick, convenient way to stay on top of everything the event has to offer—and more. You’re one click away from your event agenda, activity details, Expo information, venue maps and virtual broadcasts.

Whether you’re joining us in Orlando, or will be participating virtually, all attendees will need to download the mobile app.

  • The app will be necessary for the Business Meeting broadcast, the live and virtual Expo experiences and the Recognition Celebration broadcast.

  • You’ll receive an email no later than October 1 with instructions for downloading the latest Amway Events – North America app for your Apple® or Android® device.”

To reduce the use of paper this year, we will not be providing a printed social schedule. A week at a glance PDF is located on the agenda tab if you wish to print on your own before you leave. A more detailed agenda will be located in the event app to use onsite. Most IBOs will receive their airline reservations via an e-ticket.

Business casual attire is recommended for the Achievers program sessions. All other activities are casual.
