Mastering Uncertainty - Managing Risk and Reward in the Middle East

Financial Times - Oliver Wyman Strategic Forum:
Mastering Uncertainty: Managing Risk and Reward in the Middle East
January 10, 2013 - Grosvenor House, Dubai

Uncertainty is the new normal for conditions in the Middle East. The continued impact of the Arab Spring is only one of the many challenges confronting businesses looking for growth in the region. The social and economic imperatives facing Gulf policy-makers -- such as youth education and employment, promotion of SMEs and the ease of doing business -- remain major objectives, while any plans for the future must also factor in both existing and potential risks from within and outside the region.

Chaired and moderated by David Gardner, International Affairs Editor of the Financial Times, this half-day, invitation-only event will feature in-depth interviews and interactive panel discussions in a format that encourages audience participation and a lively interchange of ideas. Ongoing joint research on business confidence in the Gulf by Oliver Wyman and Zogby Research will provide essential context. This is the fourth Forum in a series of Financial Times and Oliver Wyman events focused on the Middle East.

There is no cost to attend the Forum.
