FLOORING
Raised flooring can help to differentiate your stand and hide cables. However it presents safety issues and you must ensure that your stand-builder complies with the Building Code of Australia. In particular raised floors with a height between 32mm and 115mm are regarded as a trip hazard and will require clearly distinguishable ramping with a gradient no less than 1 to 4 all around. Raised floors between 115mm and 190mm are regarded as a step and do not require ramping, but must be finished with an approved stair nosing as required for steps in a public place. Disabled access to the stand must be provided. Ramps may not protrude into aisles.
