AMUSEMENT & ENTERTAINMENT |
According to Australian Standards 3533 an amusement device includes examples such as any car, carriage, platform, cage, boat, while entertainment devices includes jumping castles, golf swing analysis, and other fun park entertainment. The venue requires the owner/employee to operate the device, must have a current copy of any license, registration, permit or certificate to operate, the amusement devices must remain with them at all times when on site, must provide a current certificate of currency and must sign a Standard Terms of Contractors Document no later than 4 weeks prior to the expo.
Helium Balloons
Helium balloons and inflatable devices are only permitted as fixed features of a stand or exhibit. Exhibitors must obtain written approval from PCEC for the use of air or helium balloons and inflatable devices at least four weeks before the event commences. Please note that the organiser will be charged for the removal of balloons left in PCEC and fire brigade call outs for false alarms caused by balloons and/or other exhibition related items tripping PCEC's alarm system.
