About Heart Foundation
The Heart Foundation saves lives and improves health through funding lifesaving cardiovascular research, providing guidelines for health professionals, educating the public and assisting people with cardiovascular disease. The Heart Foundation was established in 1959 and while our work since then has helped reduce the number of deaths, cardiovascular disease remains one of Australia’s most devastating health problems. We are dedicated to reducing the impact of heart disease in Australia, which includes helping to minimise the number of people living with or dying from heart, stroke or blood vessel disease. As a charity, the Heart Foundation relies on donations and gifts to continue our lifesaving research and health education work.
