Greycroft Summit 2012

About The Event

For the past few years Greycroft has run an off-site conference for our portfolio company CEOs.  We originally held the event in historic East Hampton, New York and last year we were in Santa Barbara, California.  This year we are returning to East Hampton at the home of Greycroft’s founder, Alan Patricof.  We are especially pleased to be hosting the event in conjunction with MediaLink, who we assume needs no introduction to you, as led by Michael Kassan and Wenda Millard.

This year, in addition to 40 of our most promising portfolio companies, we are excited to invite a limited group of special guests, including representatives from the largest brands, digital agencies, and web properties in the world, in order to create a more interactive dialogue.  We have carefully planned the event to make it productive, while still capturing the relaxed and beautiful environment of East Hampton.

The Greycroft Summit runs from Sunday June 3rd through Tuesday June 5th.  The event will begin with a chartered Jitney ride on Sunday morning from New York City to East Hampton.  After you arrive, we will escort you to your hotel for check-in, followed by an afternoon of optional activities. For those of you who are into sailing, we have arranged for a lunch and afternoon sail on The Sumurun.  The boat was built in 1914 and is a unique vessel, built of teak and brass with a crew of six.  It has won numerous races, including the 1997 Atlantic Challenge Cup, and will be docked in Sag Harbor for our guests. Other options include an early afternoon tee time at the South Fork Country Club and chartered fishing with the Viking Fleet.  You are also welcome to just enjoy a leisurely stroll along Main Street, take in the sights, and shop the high-end boutiques.

Starting at 7pm on Sunday we will host a cocktail party at Greycroft, followed by a lobster bake and a special guest speaker, with plenty of time to socialize.

On Monday we head back to Greycroft for talks and breakout sessions designed to expose everyone to new ideas and technologies, and also make sure there are specific takeaways from the meeting.  There will also be a dinner banquet on Monday night, followed by more sessions on Tuesday until noon, when the Jitney will arrive for the return to NYC so you can get back in time for late afternoon meetings if you wish.

For those of you who would like to combine the event with a larger weekend in the Hamptons, we are happy to welcome your spouse/significant other for both dinners, and we can provide other suggestions for events during the day.  All meetings and meals are on us as well as the charter bus transportation and Sunday activities.

We hope you will plan to be with us on this special occasion and look forward to including you in our plans.  Please do not hesitate to contact Alisa Richter if you need advice or assistance planning your weekend. Please feel free to reach Alisa via phone at 212-893-1208 or via email at richter@greycroftpartners.com.

**Please note: spouses and significant others are only invited to attend the dinners on Sunday and Monday night, not the daytime panels and activities.
