What is a case report?

You don’t need to write a paper . Just enter the boxes in the online form, giving information about a case (or cases) that you find challenging, that will interest other rheumatology professionals. We ask you to give:

  • A brief introduction
  • A short description of the case, starting with the patient’s history, your investigation, and the progress so far
  • A discussion of why the case is interesting what ideas you have had, and why input from world experts in the field would be useful
  • What you think will be the key learning points – for you, for your patient, and/or for colleagues attending the conference  with you.

Don’t feel you have to write too much – we’ve set a limit of 4,000 characters, but it’s fine to be well below that. And if you don’t have time to write paragraphs, just enter appropriate bullet points into the boxes.

The best case reports will be those that raise discussion points or questions.

Please make sure you have full patient consent for your report.
