It used to be that rounding up the bill was sufficient, but it is becoming very common to tip nowadays. Do not leave the payment or tip on the table. Hand it to the server or take it to the till.
•    Restaurant: 10%, but only if very good service as a service charge is nearly always included in the bill.
•    Taxi: 10 - 15%
•    Doormen, bellboys, attendants, ushers: €1 - €2
•    Porter: €1 - €3
