General Event Information

Q. When is Conference 2015?

  • Leaders only: Wednesday, July 22—8 AM–4 PM
  • Thursday, July 23—8 AM–8 PM 
  • Friday, July 24—7 AM–12 PM
  • Saturday July 25—7 AM–5 PM 
  • Directors’ Brunch: Sunday, July 26—10 AM–1 PM 
Check-in:
Leaders: Wednesday, July 22 – 8–10 AM Registration & photos at the Palais des Congrès, 159 St. Antoine St. West. Training sessions will be held at Le Westin Hotel Montreal—270 St. Antoine St. West.

Consultants: Wednesday, July 22, 4–7 PM, and Thursday, July 23, 8–9:30 AM at the Palais des Congrès, 159 St. Antoine St. West.

Q. Will French interpretation services be provided at Conference 2015

Yes, French interpretation services will be provided for all general sessions. French breakout training sessions will be available. 


Q. What does my registration fee include?

Q. How should I dress?

For all business/general sessions:

Please dress nicely. You may be on camera! We recommend business casual or upscale/trendy attire. Please note that it is often cold in the convention centre. You may want to bring a light sweater or shawl to stay warm. Jeans, shorts, athletic wear, and tank tops are NOT permitted. Men should dress business casual—a collared shirt with a sweater or blazer is great.

For our Awards Gala:

DRESS TO IMPRESS! Attending the Awards Gala is like having a celebratory event with your best girlfriends, so be sure to look stylish. BRIGHT COLOURS look best on camera; avoid busy patterns. Men should DRESS TO IMPRESS! Blazer and tie, a suit or even a tuxedo. 

For the Wine & Dine event:

Please wear your little black dress or favorite cocktail dress. This event will be hosted at the very trendy Les 400 Coups restaurant.


Q. Can I come to Conference if I have disabilities?

Yes. Consultants with special needs are responsible for providing their own assistant, should one be required. Please contact events@epicureselections.com as soon as possible with the name and contact information of your attending special needs assistant.

 

Q. How do I get to the hotel from the airport? 

Taxi and town car/limousine services are available outside arrivals. Speak to the dispatcher.

  • The average Taxi fare is $40 from the airport to downtown Montreal.
  • The average Town car/limousine fare is $60 from the airport to downtown Montreal.

 

747 Express Bus:

Featuring nine stops in each direction, the 747 transportation service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, between downtown Montreal and Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. Tickets are purchased at the cost of $10 inside the terminal before boarding. Tickets provide travellers with a transit pass valid on the STM bus and metro network for 24 hours. Click here for more information.


Q. Is downtown parking available?

Parking is available at the two hotels we have room blocks at.* For more information, contact the individual hotels.

Parking is also available at the Palais des Congrès and several other lots nearby. For more information on parking near the Palais des Congrès, click here to visit their website.

Q. Will we have time to go explore Montreal?

Conference 2015 is filled with fun events and networking opportunities. Out of respect for the family obligations and busy schedules of our Consultants, Epicure tries to pack as much fun and learning into as short a period as possible.

Q. Are there places to eat near the convention centre/hotel?

There are many restaurants within walking distance of the Palais des Congrès. For suggestions, explore Urbanspoon and Google Maps.


ADDITIONAL NOTE: All Epicure events are fragrance-free events. Participants are asked to avoid perfumes and other fragrances that could affect persons with environmental illnesses or chemical sensitivities. 



Registration

Q. How do I register for Conference 2015 online?

Register at epicureconference.com. Simply click the registration category you would like on the right-hand side of the page. RSVP before June 15, 2015!

Q. What is the last day I can register for Conference?

Registration closes June 15, 2015.

Q. How do I cancel?

To cancel your Conference registration, please send an email to events@epicureselections.com.

Please note the following cancellation policy:

  • Registration cancellations up to and including June 1, 2015, will receive a refund. No refunds will be given after that date.
  • All cancellations are subject to a $75 administration fee.
  • Conference fees are non-transferrable (i.e. fees cannot be transferred to another Consultant or to a different event).

 

Q. Can I bring my partner or significant other?

You may only bring a guest to the Awards Gala and After Party, which takes place on Friday, July 24, 2015. If you would like to bring your partner or significant other, please select the checkbox during your registration. The cost for a guest is $50. Please be aware this is an adult-only event.

Q. Are there babysitting services available?

Because it’s planned for adults, Conference 2015 does not provide a comfortable atmosphere for infants or small children. Keep in mind that childcare is not available; we therefore ask that you make alternative arrangements for your children.

Important note: The responsibility to make appropriate childcare arrangements, and any costs associated with such arrangements, are strictly your own.

Q. Do I get a discount for hotel accommodations? If so, what code should I use?

Conference 2015 will be held at the Palais des Congrès, 159 St. Antoine Street West, Montreal, QC. Epicure has negotiated room rates with two hotels within walking distance of the Palais des Congrès. Rates between $179 and $184 per night are available at the hotels below. Be sure to book by June 30, 2015, in order to get the special group rate! First 90 Days Achievers

Q. Do I need to register for Conference even if I plan to earn F90?

You will need to register before the cutoff date, June 15, 2015. Please visit epicureconference.com to register. Your registration payment will be refunded after you successfully complete the F90 program.




Recognition (by invitation events)

Q. How do I earn/get an invitation to the Wine & Dine, Leaders-only sessions, and Directors and above elite sessions?

To find out about how to earn your invitation to Wine & Dine and/or the Epicure After Party VIP Lounge, refer to the Annual Conference Recognition Program posted on the My Epicure Events page under the Recognition tab. For an invitation to Leaders- or Directors-only sessions, refer to the Compensation & Rewards Plan Brochure posted on My Epicure on the My Business tab.

Q. When will I find out if I have earned an invitation to one of the invitation-only events?

Wine & Dine—You will receive an official invitation when you promote yourself for the first time as a new Leader. Special invitations will be sent out by post and email prior to the Conference if all criteria are met. Please refer to the Annual Conference Recognition Program on My Epicure.

VIP Lounge at the Exclusive After Party—You will receive your VIP admission ticket at Conference. Please refer to the After Party tab on epicureconference.com to find out how to earn your ticket.
