PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND NUTRITION
Training and nutrition normally go together in sports, but this has not been a focus point until recently in rehabilitation. However, new re- search has shown that various nutrients significantly influence neuro- plasticity, learning and memory. There is thus good reason to believe that future rehabilitation and treatment of child disabilities will need to include also an understanding of the most optimal diet for facilitating of neuroplastic changes and promotion of learning and memory.
