Key fields

Theme and focus of the conference: Neuroplasticity-based multidiscipli- nary approaches to treatment and rehabilitation of childhood disabilities.

Research and knowledge from a long range of different disciplines are pivotal in order to evaluate and treat the intertangled web of key prob- lems which determine the quality of life for children with disabilities and their families. We wish with this conference to put a focus on the necessity and foundations of this multifaceted and multidisciplinary approach. The conference will be organized around new advances in four key fields which are central for this:

• Neuroplasticity
• Physical activity and nutrition
• Cognition, perception and movement
• New technologies
