CTA Congenital Academy: CCT Imaging in Complex CHD
 

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The 2026 CCT in CHD course focuses on the essential role of CCT for planning complex CHD intervention. The goal is to provide a clear understanding of the optimal way to acquire, post-process, and show complex CHD CT cases to help plan surgical approach. The conference format will be image presentation followed by group discussion. Surgeon-imager dyads from multiple institutions will show cases, illustrating the varied approach to both CCT imaging and surgical intervention in this complex field. A pre-conference workstation orientation will be available for imagers. The conference will close with a session on emerging advanced visualization technologies and program building for CCT in CHD. The conference setting at Sundance Mountain Resort is a perfect place for social interaction as well as enjoying the spectacular surrounding scenery. 
 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • 40+ Mentored CCT Cases for management of complex CHD (pre-conference workshop + dyad presentations)
  • Presentations by imager-surgeon dyads to illustrate the team approach to decision making
  • Group discussions on CCT technology advances and program building


TARGET AUDIENCE:
CHD non-invasive imagers, CHD surgeons and anyone on the heart team taking care of complex CHD patients

DRESS CODE: Mountain Casual Attire is suggested for the conference. Jeans, corduroy, or khaki pants paired with sweaters, fleece, or flannel are recomended.
