Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing the course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe and define kraft pulp mill processes, equipment, operating variables, and terminology, in order to increase ability to improve operations and pulp quality.
  • Recognize how one part of the process effects other operations, in order to increase awareness of thinking on a mill wide scale.
  • Interpret how the process variables effect pulp quality, in order to improve pulp quality and troubleshoot variations in quality.
