APPLICATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2014 APPES AND APEG JOINT FELLOWS SCHOOL

APPLICATIONS

In order to apply for the APPES & APEG Fellows School please follow the link at the bottom of this page.  Please note you must be a member of either APPES or APEG to attend the fellows School.

The application is online and will take you through step-by-step to input your personal details. 


We recommend that before you start the application process you gather the following information;
  • Your recent work history
  • Details of any previous APPES or APEG Fellows Schools which you have attended
  • CV/Resume as a word document
  • Case study/ies as outlined below as word documents - Please discuss cases with your consultant, to determine their suitability, before submission
  • A letter of recommendation from your head of department.  This may be emailed through to fellows@willorganise.com.au if this is not available at the time of applying.

CASE STUDY GUIDELINES

It is a requirement for fellows to submit at least one case study during the application process for the APPES & APEG Fellow’s School (with a maximum of three case studies allowed). You will be asked to submit your case studies for the following topics;

  • Disorders of Sexual Development   
  • Calcium and Bone    
  • Type I Diabetes     
  • Puberty
  • Endocrine Emergencies
  • Growth
  • Adrenal and Cushings
  • Type II Diabetes and Insulin Resistance
  • Thalassaemia and late effects of Oncology treatment
  • Clinical Conundrums
 
FORMAT FOR CASE STUDIES & KEY ARTICLES SUBMISSIONS
  • Files must be saved and uploaded as a word file
  • Only electronic submissions will be accepted
  • Case study must be written in English
  • Use font Arial 12 point
  • Maximum 400 words (one page) per case
  • Each case study must be given a title
  • One or two paragraphs per case is acceptable. At the end, it may be useful to suggest several questions for discussion, pertaining to diagnostic or management dilemmas surrounding the case

Please keep your cases anonymous by NOT including any identifying information such as name, date of birth, hospital record number etc.  Any photographs should be modified to maintain anonymity.
