Evaluation and Management (E/M) codes are the most commonly billed codes and continue to be one of the most challenging areas with struggles interpreting guidelines, levels of service, modifiers and regulations.

Some topics that will be covered:

  • Evaluate the differences and the impact of the 1995 and 1997 guidelines
  • Review and code specific E/M examples based on documentation in the record

Manager's Program (Day 3)

Compliance – Identify, Prioritize and Manage Risks

What made a 25-year veteran of Compliance rethink everything they thought they knew about compliance documentation? Listen to the “and then….” story you never want to experience.

Join us for a focused seminar to hear about these tales from the trenches, plus an in-depth look at Corporate Compliance Plans, Auditing Techniques and High Risk Areas, Audit Scoring and Corrective Action Plans.

  • What if all your Audit Results were in the hands of someone who is now using them against you?
  • What if all your Compliance Committee reports, meeting materials and minutes were turned into weapons of non-compliance?
