finance sectors, and what must the international and Turkish business
communities do to make the most of new opportunities (in infrastructure, energy
and finance) and further strengthen existing ties?
Against the backdrop of growth

| 4:50 pm | Keynote Address: Turkey: The Next Big Thing?
Turkey's economic growth rate was the highest in Europe after the 2000-01 crisis until the worldwide recession and the Turkish economy was transformed. Slow growth in the past two years has obscured Turkish potential, which is still enormous. If economic policy challenges are addressed, Turkey could easily be the European tiger of the next decade. The current challenges and the huge potential will be spelled out in this talk.
