What is Table Topics?
Table Topics is an event on the second Tuesday of the month that
features networking and a keynote speaker. It's offered in person on the third floor
of the WBCS office building (5605 N. MacArthur Blvd Irving, TX 75038) and
virtually via Zoom Meeting.


For those attending in person, lunch is provided.
For those attending virtually, there is an online facilitator.

All who register for the event will receive the presentation recording.

Mary Anne Davis

Mary Anne is the founder of Peak Performance Solutions® and has been committed to “Moving Individuals to Action!” through training, consulting and advanced learning. She is an internationally recognized sales and management consultant and trainer. Her clients are in all industries including manufacturing, government and municipalities, non-profit, healthcare, insurance and more. She has helped an international Blue-Chip list of clients achieve bottom line results with her dynamic style and relevant programs and has multiple published case studies demonstrating the effectiveness of her efforts. In 2010, Mary Anne Davis authored her first book The Sales Messenger:  Ten Lessons for Sales Success in Your Business and Personal Life.

Mary Anne and is active in various professional associations including:  Association for Talent Development (ATD), National Speakers Association (NSA), and Toastmasters International.  She has served on board positions for the local chapter of ATD. She is an Authorized Partners of Wiley representing various professional development resources. She is Certified and an Accredited Solutions Provider of Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team programs.  She is also an authorized partner for PXT Select, a competency based hiring and developmental assessment that is EEOC compliant. She continually achieves the prestigious award level known as “Diamond” each year Wiley.  

Mary Anne is current with WBE, WOSB and HUB certifications.

 
Adrienne Faulkner

Adrienne Akin Faulkner is the CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Faulkner Design Group (FDG), a leading national interior architecture and design firm known for creating dynamic multifamily and senior living environments. With over 32 years of experience, Adrienne has established FDG as a trusted partner to the nation’s top developers, contractors, and investment groups, setting new standards for quality and innovation.

Recognizing a need for seamless installation and logistics, Adrienne founded Design Expediting Services International (DESI) 22 years ago, providing turnkey solutions that ensure quality and efficiency for interior design professionals. She also leads Architectural Images, FDG’s exclusive art collection that brings depth and character to each project.


Her passion for design and architecture stems from her grandfather, George L. Dahl, FAIA, Chief Architect and orchestrator of the 1936 Centennial World’s Fair Exposition in Dallas, The University of Texas Austin Masterplan, and thousands of projects across the country.

A passionate philanthropist and industry leader, Adrienne serves on boards including the Dallas Historical Society, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, and Friends of Fair Park, reflecting her commitment to the community and the arts. Adrienne graduated Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration, double majoring in International Business and Finance. She also holds an Associate Degree with Honors in Interior Design. Adrienne is NCIDQ certified, a Registered Interior Designer licensed in 22 states, a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers, and a LEED Green Associate. Both FDG and Desi are WBENC Certified.

 
Valerie Freeman
Founder

Valerie Freeman is the Founder of three companies that offer workforce solutions on a national scale.  BravoTECH, Freeman+Leonard, and Anserteam.  These firms specialize in providing staffing, search, managed services and consulting.  She recently sold her oldest staffing company, Imprimis Group.  The companies have been named multiple times to the Inc.500/5000, Dallas 100, UH Cougar 100 and WPO Fast 50.  Valerie has been inducted into the Dallas Business Hall of Fame, Tech Titans Hall of Fame and the Women’s Business Enterprise Hall of Fame.  In 2020 she was honored with the Orbie Leadership Award by the Dallas CIO Association.  She also received two Lifetime Achievement Awards – one from the Alliance of Technology and Women and the other from Dallas Business Journal for her work with women in technology.  She was named to D CEO’s 500 Most Powerful Business Leaders several years and the Power 50 women in Dallas by the Texas Diversity Council.  In the past she received the Athena Award from the Dallas Regional Chamber, Maura Award from the Dallas (now Texas) Women’s Foundation and Women of Distinction from the Girl Scouts.

In the past she has chaired the Boards of the Girl Scouts of NE Texas and the Dallas County College District Foundation and served on the Audit Committee of The Dallas Foundation.  She was one of the founders of the Texas Women Ventures which made investments in women-owned and led companies.

She was also a founder and board member of Resource Bank which ultimately became Texas Capital Bank.  Today she is a founder, investor and Director of Prime Women Media, a diversified media group, which offers high quality entertainment to the over 50 women.

Valerie currently serves on the Board of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce and the Audit Committee at the Dallas Museum of Art.  She also serves on the Advisory Council of the Alliance of Technology and Women. She is a founder of the DBJ’s Women in Tech Awards and still serves as a presenting sponsor.   She is a member of YPO Gold, International Women’s Forum, Dallas Assembly, Tech Titans technology trade association, and Women’s Business Council - Southwest.  Valerie holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Education from the University of Houston where she was honored as a Distinguished Alum.

 
Pallavi Ridout

Pallavi Ridout is an ICF Certified executive leadership coach, dynamic keynote speaker, emcee extraordinaire and personal excellence enabler for leaders, teams and individuals. After working in corporate America for 20+ years, she exited her highly successful career in order to “Lead a Life of No Regrets” which also happens to be her signature keynote speech.

She has coached global executive & leadership teams from 30+ countries and groomed them as for excellence.

Pallavi is an award-winning speaker and has won several division and district toastmasters speech competitions. She brings her rich speaking and storytelling experience into her highly engaging and dynamic keynotes.

She leads a life of purpose and actively gives back 25% of her time to organizations making an impact on this world such as Lean In, The Sankara Eye Foundation and actively mentors at UNT.

Fun fact:
She is an avid traveler.  In the summer of 2019, along with her 9-year-old embarked on an “Around the World in 80 days” journey covering 3 continents, 13 countries and 27 cities! 

 
Kris Sorokwasz

Kris Sorokwasz is a seasoned leader in the print services and distribution sector, boasting over 29 years of industry experience. She is a client-focused print and promotional management expert with a relentless drive to achieve results across all areas of corporate communications. Her mission is to promote a positive outlook on the print and promotional products industry by leveraging advanced technologies.

Kris is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the Women’s Business Council Southwest and the Women Presidents’ Organization. She serves on the Truist Bank North Texas Advisory Board. Kris earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Michigan State University.

In 1994, Kris founded Advanced Business Graphics, Inc. This event is open to everyone.

Offered in person and virtually, there are several admission options to meet your needs.
The deadline to register for in person attendance at the early bird rate is Monday, February 10 at 3:00pm CST. 
After that, on-site registration is available for a higher fee.
Registration for virtual attendance is available until the minute before the event begins.


What If I Register and Can’t Attend?

Cancellation and Refund Policy
All sales are final. In the event that the registrant can no longer attend, the unused registration is considered a donation to the Council.

Substitutions Welcome
If you have a conflict arise and can’t attend the event, another person may attend in your place at no charge.

Substitutions may be submitted in two ways:
1. via the link and reference # that are provided in your confirmation email
2. via email request to WBCS Senior Director of Programs, Elizabeth Garner
