Speaker Bio

David Miller

David Miller is a leadership coach with a lifetime of experience in guiding both seasoned and emerging leaders. His expertise lies in developing customized coaching programs that drive personal and professional growth. He was raised on the South Plains of West Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Administrative Management. David was married to Jayne Ann Williston of Austin for 40+ years before losing her to cancer. He is now married to the former Katherine McKelvy and resides in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. Together they have four children and nine grandchildren. David invested 34 years of his career in the medical equipment industry, 14 of those as owner and operator and the last 20 years as president and CEO. In 2005, David co-founded Spirit Ranch where his team helped develop over 30,000 guests/clients in their ten-year pursuit of bringing others closer to their Creator and building believers, leaders, and teams. He founded Cornerstone Executives in 2016, inspired by the leadership lessons instilled in him by his parents. In addition to serving as Mayor of Lubbock, Texas, David was a member of the board of directors for University Medical Center, United Way, Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, Lubbock National Bank, Texas Tech Alumni Association, and volunteered for many other local, state, and national organizations.  David Miller brings a half-century of experience as a family man, business executive, mayor, and leadership coach.
