What is Table Topics?
Table Topics is an event on the second Tuesday of the month that
features networking and a keynote speaker. It's offered in person on the third floor
of the WBCS office building (5605 N. MacArthur Blvd Irving, TX 75038) and
virtually via Zoom Meeting.


For those attending in person, lunch is provided.
For those attending virtually, there is an online facilitator.

All who register for the event will receive the presentation recording.

"You’re always negotiating.” You’ve seen that a thousand times and written it off. It seems extremist and alarmist. Some of it just doesn’t matter right? Netflix or Hulu? You drive or I drive? Chinese or pizza? Who cares...

The business world, on the other hand, will chew up the unskilled yet rewards the masterful. Companies live or die based on their everyday interactions. That Zoom call, voicemail, email, rescheduled appointment, it all alters the trajectory of the bigger negotiation.

If you’re not trained, you won’t even realize it before you’re taken advantage of. In this session, we’ll cover

  • The Micro-Negotiation Effect (How interactions build on each other and affect relationships and the final deal)
  • Conventional “wisdom” and myths that need to be exposed
  • Practical tips and advice to implement right now

Chase McTaggart is a Negotiation Specialist. His company, Quiet Man Negotiations, teaches, trains, and consults for women business teams on negotiating calmly and powerfully. Their most common clients are business owners, sales teams, purchasing teams, and other executives.

Chase has spent 10+ years negotiating against heavy hitters in the worlds in Metals & Mining, Chemical, and Aerospace Industries. He’s researched and studied the art and science behind negotiation and used it for years to launch companies into more profitable business.

Now he’s sharing what he’s learned, used, and developed with other businesspeople to help them apply it throughout their businesses around the world.

This event is open to everyone.

Offered in person and virtually, there are several admission options to meet your needs.
The deadline to register for in person attendance at the early bird rate is Monday, September 9 at 3:00pm CST. 
After that, on-site registration is available for a higher fee.
Registration for virtual attendance is available until the minute before the event begins.

What If I Register and Can’t Attend?

Cancellation and Refund Policy
All sales are final. In the event that the registrant can no longer attend, the unused registration is considered a donation to the Council.

Substitutions Welcome
If you have a conflict arise and can’t attend the event, another person may attend in your place at no charge.

Substitutions may be submitted in two ways:
1. via the link and reference # that are provided in your confirmation email
2. via email request to WBCS Senior Director of Programs, Elizabeth Garner
