The National MPS Society invites you to attend its 37th Annual Family Conference. The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland.

The meeting begins the evening of Thursday, September 28 with dinner and breakout sessions. On Friday, meetings will be held with the FDA and NIH, with care management sessions and a concurrent adult (SPIRIT) conference on Saturday.

Newly diagnosed families will join together to hear disease overviews, and share their experiences and strategies for coping. Families who have received new diagnoses since the previous conference, or who are new and have been unable to attend previous conferences, are welcome to attend newly diagnosed sessions.

Our members have shared that research, management of symptoms, and new treatments are most important, along with information to support individuals with neurocognitive involvement and those without. Speakers will focus on these topics. Syndrome-specific and relationship-specific breakout sessions will take place Thursday night. On Saturday evening, families are invited to a banquet dinner! There’s no dress code for this event; you’re welcome to dress up in your finest party attire or be relaxed in shorts and flip flops.
 

The Society is excited to share that TWO NIGHTS of your conference stay at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda at the block rate of $179.67/night (with taxes and fees, no incidentals), will be paid by the Society! Eligible days are only September 28-30; simply reserve your room and register for the conference by August 28th to receive your stipend for one room night. (Scholarship recipients will receive up to two nights covered under the scholarship program per application request, and an additional single night provided by the Society.)

• Member Families only are eligible
• One room only per family at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda
• Rooms must be booked on or before August 28 for room block, or on/before August 28th if the room block is filled
• Those reservations booked outside of the room block will receive reimbursement post conference
• A credit card will be required at check-in. The Society will only pay for the room expense. All other incurred expenses and incedentials to the room are paid by the guest registrant.

The Hyatt Regency Bethesda will have rooms available in the National MPS Society's block only until they sell out. You must book your room right away to ensure availability in the block. The rate is $179.67 night (including taxes and fees). If you are applying for a scholarship, you still need to book your own room.
