Patient Engagement Best Practices Poster Contest |
Call for Entries! Share you Knowledge!
MedAxiom is holding a Patient Engagement Best Practices Strategies Poster Contest as yet another way to share innovative and effective practices among the membership. It’s all about sharing your knowledge with your peers!
The combined use of electronic communication and information technology in the health sector for clinical, educational and administrative purposes has proven to be an effective method of patient engagement and adoption. Whether it be the use of social media, digital marketing, or the use of electronic tools for administrative purposes, how has your organization used interactive, electronic platforms to improve business functions?
Some examples of these methods include:
- Traditional functional features (e.g. online search, interactive map or calendar, virtual tour, finding a physician, contact us)
- Core e-business features (e.g. online (pre)registration, appointment-setting, bill-paying, refilling prescriptions, accessing health/medical records/lab results)
- Patient support and education features
- Visitor-related features (e.g. online flower/gift shop, e-card or email for a patient)
- Public relations-related features (e.g. presence on social media, online caregiver recognition)
- Emerging functional features (e.g. site or application for mobile devices, interactive cost estimator
We are looking for innovative ways that technology has been utilized successfully in your program to share at the upcoming Spring 2014 Conference. We want to know how YOU are engaging your patients using these electronic methods.
