2018 Annual Conference

Point Clear and Fairhope, Alabama
This historic hotel has been serving these communities since the 1840s. Overlooking the Mobile Bay, it was THE prime location spot for wealthy families of the time.
Designed by F.H. Chaimberlain, the hotel started with just two stories and 40 rooms and was only accessible by boat. During the Civil War, it was used as a hospital for Confederate soldiers. For the adventurous, there's a 150-grave Confederate Rest Cemetery on the hotel's Azalea Golf Course.
Since that time, it's endured fires, floods and hurricanes and now provides over 405 rooms. As this year's TVPPA Annual Conference attendees arrive, they'll be greeted to a newly-renovated hotel as they have just completed an extensive upgrade to all guest rooms, hotel facilities and conference spaces.
