Stand 07: The Skills Network


Come to stand 7 to meet The Skills Network team! We are a leading provider of training and consultancy, dedicated to offering the best opportunities, solutions and services for your organisation.

Our presence at the AELP conference is primarily to offer Leadership and Improvement Services (LIS). Our LIS division focusses on providing support to the Learning and Skills sector, helping to deliver positive results. We work closely with FE colleges and PTPs, providing pre-inspection support, funding information, curriculum planning and interim management.

Established by sector bodies and funded by The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), the Foundation sets professional standards and provides support to ensure learners benefit from a well-qualified, effective and up-to-date professional workforce supported by good leadership, management and governance. The Foundation works in partnership with those bodies that represent the sector, offering assured collective leadership to shape and inform the context in which the sector workforce operates. The Foundation is confident in its approach to empowering professionals, through sharing and facilitating professional conversations so that the sector can keep pace with change.
