What is Table Topics?
Table Topics is a monthly event (February through November) that features
networking and a keynote speaker focused on communication, business development,
or personal development. Offered in person at the WBCS Office in Irving, TX and
virtually via Zoom Meeting.


For those attending in person, lunch is provided.
For those attending virtually, there is an online facilitator.

What you do is amazing. It’s transformational. And… it can be REALLY hard to explain! How do you describe the value of what you do so you're attracting new clients, instead of confusing or overwhelming people?

In this class, we will have a frank discussion about the counter-intuitive leap you'll need to make in order to speak directly to the deepest desires of your prospective clients.

Come ready to challenge your assumptions and make a big shift in how you're talking about your business!

Participants will:

  • Dig into why you feel it’s so important to explain what you do, and shine a light on when (with the best of intentions) you’re making the conversation about you instead of your prospect
  • Discover the right time to explain the mechanics of your business, and why this timing is so important
  • Develop a clear, compelling answer to the question “what do you do?”
  • Step back and look at the bigger picture by assessing the 6 essential elements of client generation so you can attract more great clients, without working nights and weekends

Mary Cravets is a Client Generation Expert and International Speaker, who helps entrepreneurs significantly grow their businesses without working nights and weekends.

After receiving a diagnosis of adrenal exhaustion just 2 years after launching her business, Mary found herself with only 4 hours of energy a week to devote to work. To weather the crisis, she created an entirely new way to approach her business in order to get better results with less effort. As she recovered her health, her business actually grew. What started as strategies for survival, over time, evolved into a full client generation system. This system doubled her business several times over, and it’s how her clients consistently increase their income 50% or more.

Mary’s clients include the former CFO of Microsoft North America, thought-leaders in the coaching industry and rising stars in a variety of other service professions.

Mary is also an avid roller coaster enthusiast, obsessed with otters, longtime NAWBO member and a member of her local NAACP branch.
